today and tomorrow

we need to live for today.
too many are living for the future. too many are spending their lives worrying about tomorrow.
whether economics, religion, the future, we have become obsessed with the things we can't control.
we have lied out every possibility, every circumstance, and in that, we've lost sight of today. we have lost sight of who we are, and now we hate what we've become.
we spend our day trying to fix tomorrow's issues.
if we would step back and realize the only way the future will be the way it is is because we don't live in the now.
one of the hardest things to do is live for this minute. even for Christians. once we get a glimpse of what God has done, or what He will do, tomorrow is all we think about. the only thing is, God wants us to grow where we are. it's not, "one day God will let me do this...", it's let Him do it now or never (to quote High School Musical 3-lol-some will get that.)
you may not be where you want to be, school, life, family, work, spiritually - wise, but you're there for a reason. it may make no sense at all. but then, does God have to make sense?
throw your reason out the door.
tomorrow will take care of itself. what about today? next week you may have a chance to witness, to counsel, to teach, but what about the last couple of hours? how many times could you have made an impact? it doesn't have to be huge. God will take care of that.
all you need to do is in everything you think, feel, do, see, hear, learn, give it to God. it will be hard at first, but once you completely give your life to God, he will make your todays count so you don't waste them on tomorrow.
i mean really, even the politicians, government workers, and newscasters are praying for a revolution. what are you wanting?
